This is the oldest jet we have had in our series: a popular first generation jet of which nearly 3500 were built and flown with 12 countries. The Thunderstreak was the first fighter-bomber equipped with swept wings and was flown for over 2 decades. Some pilots even managed to break the sound barrier with it, when in a dive!
