Modelling the A400M
First there was the Airbus A400M and only a few years later, Revell released two scale models of it, one in 1/144 scale and a second huge one in 1/72. With the release of our book on the impressive transport aircraft, we just had to build one. We picked the smaller of the two.

We aren’t going to tell you that !!! But, we can drop a few hints, though!
While we are but a small team, we try to bring at least 6 to 8 new books each year. The only way to do that is to work on many books at the same time. Currently, we have 3 series: the modern aircraft, classic aircraft and aircraft carriers. We work on new books in each of these series and even some new series! While we want to keep the subjects of the books a surprise, we can drop some hints, right? How about a jet that was used at sea and on land with a folding nose, tail and wings?
The adventure of making books on carriers
Making books on aircraft carriers presents an incredible opportunity but also a big challenge. When you finally get the green light to visit an aircraft, you only get limited time aboard. This can be from 1 to 4 days – if you get lucky. And you aren’t probably the only photo journalist invited, so you have to take that into account. Basically, you try to take as many photos of as many different parts of the aircraft, helicopters and of course the ship itself. The first book in this series was on the Spanish assault ship Juan Carlos I. We show you the harrier IIs on the ship, a series of helicopters – like the Sea King, Bell 212 and Cougar – and the military vehicles that are brought to shore by the landing craft. Discover the details of the ship’s interior, defence systems and super structure!

Of course you know the big modelling brands and the many fantastic kits they have available, but there are also a lot of small – sometimes just 1 person making kits, sets or decals after hours – companies that create incredible products. And because we want to keep you up-to-date, we have a modelling blog! Every week, we show you new things we found!
