2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. While in some countries, the F-16 is being taken out of service – Norway and The Netherlands – in others, the jet is just about to enter service, like in Slovenia, Argentina or Bulgaria. Today, the F-16 is still in production even though the current F-16 has little to do with the one that flew back in 1974.
