Description

When you get the opportunity to visit an aircraft carrier, you take it. The first time we got this chance, Gert Trachez and Kris Christiaens were happy to go to the Spanish aircraft carrier and assault ship Juan Carlos I (Primero). In this book we bring you a portrait of the action on board of the ship, both on the flight deck and below. Flying action in this book comes from EAV-8B Harrier Its, Sea Kings, Chinooks, Cougars, and even V-22 Ospreys. We also show the ships protection, the island and the assault ships, carrying military vehicles on land. To conclude, we bring a visit to Rotà, the home base of both the ship and the squadrons flying from it.
