Raptors passing through
Eventhough the number of Raptors built is rather limited compared to let’s say the F-15, F-16 or F-35, they remain an extremely important asset for the USAF. So, whenever needed, the F-22s can be deployed quite quickly. February 2026 saw quite a few of the stealth fighter jet pass through RAF Lakenheath en route to their next assignment and what a sight they are. I feel they look even better with age, in their metal glow! Then again, for a jet that costs 360 million, at least it should look good, right?
