Fitter in maintenance
Armed with our 140-page book on the Su-22 Fitter, my friend Wilfried Van de Vel transformed the old KP, a kit that was released over 25 years ago, into a jet that is in maintenance. Inspired by the extensive maintenance chapter in our book, he opened up the spine, the avionics bays, lover engine doors, speed brakes, etc. and scratch-built some jacks to put the aircraft on! An impressive model, especially considering the level of the KP model. Since, kits have been released by Kitty Hawk Models and Hobby Boss, which are not as challenging. We’ll show more of Wilfried’s build soon!
