F-5-gathering at Florennes AB
The 2026 airshow season is almost over and it was a strange one. No show this year at RAF Fairford, with the Ri-oyal International Air Tattoo cancelled, scorching hot conditions at plenty of shows all over Europe and some almost rained out in September. The photo below shows a quite impressive line-up of F-5s seen at Belgian Air Force Days, held at Florennes in June. How often do you get to see some 15 F-5s? At the back are the F-5s of the Patrouille Suisse, with th Turkish Stars closer to the camera. Make sure you catch the Patrouille Suisse Tiger IIs next year, because 2027 is the last year the unit will fly the jet.
